Holograph and typescript bibliographies and lists relating to Swingle's book collection of California in Fiction before 1900, which was acquired by the Beinecke Library in 1975. Included is a notebook containing a holograph bibliography; a seventeen-page typescript carbon list of "Major California Authors" with manuscript annotations in unidentified hands; a sixty-five-page mimeographed typescript list of "California Authors"; and bibliographic descriptions of California fictional works from Swingle's book collection typed on individual sheets and arranged alphabetically by main entry.
